July 3 - St. Thomas the Apostle

Today's the feastday of St. Thomas. Here's B16's 2006 GA talk on the apostle:
The Apostle Thomas' case is important to us for at least three reasons:  first, because it comforts us in our insecurity; second, because it shows us that every doubt can lead to an outcome brighter than any uncertainty; and, lastly, because the words that Jesus addressed to him remind us of the true meaning of mature faith and encourage us to persevere, despite the difficulty, along our journey of adhesion to him.
OSV (along with other publishers) collected those GA talks into a published volume, and Amy Welborn (me) wrote a study guide to go along with it. The books are out of print, but here's a link to a pdf of the study guide I wrote. Since the talks are all online, and free, I'm going to keep telling you that they (as well as the talks on the early Church Fathers) would be a fantastic, substantive and pastoral basis for a group study - with a free study guide available right here! Below are a couple of pages so you can see the type of questions I suggest for discussion.
